2025 Search for the MOST OUTSTANDING SANGGUNIAN On-Site Validation

The Office of the Sangguniang Bayan of Tigbauan has undergone On-Site Validation of its official entry for the 2025 Search for the Most Outstanding Sanggunian in the Province of Iloilo.

The Provincial Legislative Awards Committee (PLAC) validated the office’s records, set-up, operations, and accomplishments for the previous year in exercising its mandated power as the municipal legislative body.

Established through Provincial Ordinance No. 2022-288, the search evaluates Sanggunians based on criteria such as:

I. Presence of Legislative Agenda

II. Availability of Legislative Documents

III. Effectiveness of the Performance of the Sanggunian

IV. Efficiency of Performance of the Sanggunian

V. Legislative Citations and Awards

VI. Capacity Development for Legislators and Staff

VII. Innovations and Best Practices

The results and winners for the said search will be announced during the Semana sang Iloilo Celebration in April.
